How renting works

Inquiry to teardown

Renting a finished installation is simpler than commissioning one — here's the whole path, and who handles what.

  1. Inquire

Pick a piece, tell us your dates, location, and budget. Nothing is held yet — this starts the conversation.

  2. Quote

We reply within 48 hours with availability and a firm quote covering the rental, re-theming, and any install support the piece needs.

  3. Contract & deposit

A signed rental agreement and deposit hold your dates. The contract states exactly who is responsible for what — no surprises on site.

  4. Transport & install

Each listing states how the piece travels and what installing it takes. Some pieces flat-pack into a cargo van; some arrive by truck and crane with our crew. We coordinate this with your site ops.

  5. Your event

The piece runs on the power stated in its spec sheet. Operating requirements (spotters, restricted climbing, weather limits) are in the contract.

  6. Teardown

Leave-no-trace teardown on the agreed schedule. Damage beyond normal wear is covered by the damage terms in the agreement.

Who's responsible for what

We provide: the installation in working order, its spec sheet (dimensions, weight, power, site needs), engineering documentation where listed, liability coverage where listed, and re-theming agreed in the quote.

You provide: the site (access, ground conditions, power as specified), local permits where required, site security outside operating hours, and transport where the listing states renter-arranged transport.

Insurance: listings state what liability coverage is included with the piece. Certificates are available on request. Your event's own general liability policy remains yours.

Every rental runs on a written agreement covering these terms — ask for a sample contract any time: aaron@mangrovesystems.com.
